Performance Evidence

Evidence of the ability to:

undertake individualised research into area of own creative practice, incorporating:

in-depth focus on a particular idea, material, medium, process or technique

investigation of own work to identify related strengths and weaknesses

intensive consultation with more experienced peers

independently plan a safe and sustainable body of creative work from initial concept to realisation

independently coordinate a coherent body of professional creative work based on the body of research and development of own ideas, which effectively communicates the intended concept and is suitable for sale, promotion or use in the public domain

resolve conceptual and technical issues that arise within the work

evaluate own skills and work against planned professional practice strategy and in the context of work by others to extend own practice

engage in sustainable ways to support ongoing professional practice and development, including:

evaluating and discussing work with peers in a professional context

participating in related professional networks, associations or events.

clarify commercial and professional opportunities for creative work in the context of own practice

outline project management methodologies suitable for creative work

summarise intellectual property considerations associated with artistic professional practice

outline sustainability issues associated with the tools and materials used in the chosen creative form

explain work health and safety procedures required in relation to the chosen creative form.
